Katie Gallagher, LPC
Katie is a licensed professional counselor, who earned her Master’s degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She has a collaborative approach to counseling, which means the client and she work together through the client’s process of healing. She believes hope, honesty, and compassion are essential to the healing process.
Katie is trained in various therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative therapy, and the Collaborative Change model for trauma. Katie also holds a certificate in Christian counseling.
Katie has experience working with children through adults. Before coming to Pathways, she worked extensively with survivors of trauma, particularly survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has also worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and life transitions/adjustment disorders.
