Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Master’s Degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since obtaining her Master’s in 2005, Jennifer has spent time in child protective services, treatment foster care, and mental health. Drawing on these experiences, Jennifer is skilled at working with individuals or families struggling with parenting, relationships, abuse, trauma, anxiety, and adjustment/transition issues. Jennifer utilizes an eclectic approach drawing on concepts from psychodynamic theory, family systems theory, and dialectical behavior therapy. Jennifer believes that engagement, understanding, and perspective are key components to building a strong foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship.
